Industrial NVMe SSD
Will it work in my host system?
These are standard M.2 NVMe modules (PCIe 3.0 x4, NVMe 1.4)—broad compatibility with typical industrial and embedded hosts that expose a standard NVMe M.2 slot. If you hit a rare platform quirk (power sequencing, erase policy, etc.), share details—our engineers can review and tune where the program allows.
2280 or 2242—which should I choose?
By board size and capacity: 2280 when you want DRAM-less up to 2 TB or cache up to 8 TB; 2242 for compact designs (DRAM-less, up to 1 TB). Both use the same industrial wide-temperature TLC stack.
DRAM-less or with DRAM cache on 2280?
DRAM-less (YIDJ…NZT-S): lower power, 256 GB–2 TB, 5-year warranty. With DRAM cache (YIDJ…NQT-S): 1 TB–8 TB, higher sustained throughput, 5-year warranty. Share your workload and we will recommend.
What NAND flash do you use?
Both form factors use TLC NAND flash as the storage medium, with 3000 P/E cycles, wear leveling, and published TBW by capacity. This balances cost and capacity for industrial embedded and field programs—not consumer QLC desk drives.
What is soft self-destruct (-SD)?
Optional secure-erase trigger on pin 67 (customer-defined). Available as custom -SD part numbers on DRAM-less 2280. May add NRE / extended lead time—confirm pricing and firmware cycle with sales before PO.
Can you lock DRAM cache to one vendor?
Yes. Cache SKUs may use Micron or ChangXin DRAM by batch. For production programs, request a single vendor locked on your quotation—state on PO.
Custom firmware or silkscreen logo?
Project-dependent. Share your requirements (firmware behavior, labeling, -SD policy)—we confirm feasibility, NRE, and lead time in the quotation.
What are order quantity, payment, and delivery terms?
See Commercial terms: no fixed MOQ—often from 1 pc when in stock; build minimums confirmed on quote. Payment T/T 50%+50%, ship from Ningbo, bulk lead 4–6 weeks when building.
