Bring-up sequence before you scale

  1. Mechanical mock — verify height and lean against the production chassis, not only the open PCB.
  2. Link & boot — cold power cycles at the lowest claimed ambient; confirm BIOS sees the device consistently.
  3. Image load — write the production OS image; confirm size headroom and recovery partition behavior.
  4. Soak — short temperature soak if the enclosure is sealed or outdoor-rated.
  5. Lock the PN — capacity + temp grade + CN labeling on the BOM before bulk.
