SSD Wide-temp

Industrial M.2 NVMe SSD

Industrial M.2 NVMe 2280 & 2242 — DRAM-less and with DRAM cache.

Series overview

Industrial M.2 NVMe SSDs deliver high-throughput logging and edge AI storage in 2280/2242 lengths with wide-temp grades. Loongtion covers DRAM-less and DRAM-cache architectures for industrial PCs, gateways, and servers that need replaceable media with controlled BOM. Choose M.2 when field service must swap media without reflow; choose BGA when the mechanical design forbids a connector. Product cards below show active lengths, capacities, and temperature grades for industrial NVMe shortlisting.

Technical points to align

Confirm M.2 length (2280 vs 2242), keying, PCIe lanes, NVMe version, capacity, endurance class, and temperature (−40°C to +85°C industrial vs commercial 0–70°C). Form-factor alternatives to Samsung / Micron / Solidigm industrial M.2 families are protocol-compatible shortlists — qualify firmware features (power-loss, SMART) on the host. Thermal throttling in sealed fanless boxes is as important as peak sequential numbers on the datasheet. DRAM-less designs reduce cost and height but may need host-side tuning for mixed random workloads; read the DRAM-less guide before assuming identical behavior to a DRAM-cache SSD.

How to select in this series

Filter the products below by length and capacity, then open M.2 NVMe DRAM-less guide when comparing DRAM-less designs. Use cross-reference for incumbent family mapping. For soldered NVMe, see NVMe BGA series. Broader SSD browsing: industrial SSD. Ask for endurance class and power-loss behavior in the RFQ so application engineering can match the right SKU rather than only the largest capacity.
