Answer Your Common Questions About SSDs

Technical Specs

Many Loongtion industrial SSD and memory products support wide-temperature grades such as -40°C to +85°C (industrial) and extended ranges on selected SKUs (e.g. −55 °C to +95 °C on wide-temperature SATA modules; up to +105 °C on selected memory/pSLC devices).

Always confirm the exact grade on the product datasheet for your part number. Contact Loongtion FAE for application-specific validation: /contact.
pSLC (pseudo-SLC) stores one bit per cell while using TLC/MLC NAND die, improving endurance and retention versus standard TLC at the cost of lower capacity.

It is commonly used in industrial eMMC and embedded modules where write endurance and data integrity matter more than maximum density. See Loongtion industrial eMMC and chip products under /products/storage-chips.
For Gulf region deployments (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc.), prioritize:
• Wide-temperature rated components (-40°C to 85°C minimum; extended grades for outdoor enclosures)
• Validated thermal design and throttling behavior under sustained load
• Stable BOM and long lifecycle for field maintenance

Loongtion publishes region-focused solutions such as /lp/ddr4-gcc-extreme for extreme-heat DDR4 and offers rugged industrial SSD lines for field equipment.
